I caught this 13lb jack crevalle at the river mouth in manzanilla
bay on 15/05/05. That fish was a bit greedy because he first took a
live mullet off of my cousin's rod (Riaaz Mohammed) and 5 seconds
after took mine and in the process snapped the hook from my
cousin's rod, (who by the way wasn't pleased about that at all).

I live in Trinidad and Tobago...which is an island in the west
indies. I caught this 5lb sea trout while surf fishing on the
20-04-04, on a beach called manzanilla bay..which is on the eastern
coast of our island.
! was fishing with three rods..a 13 ft, a 12 ft and a 10 ft. I
don't normally use the 10 foot because the bottom guide is
broken...and the reel I have for it is shabby...but I tried
it...and as luck would have it...the
fish got hooked on the worst rod! |

This fish was my first dewy id spent
half my life waiting 2 boat or beach one and after many lost
fish i finally pulled this fella in after a nerve racking 20mins
I was fishing out off a half cabin 28ft wooden punt this fish
dragged me around under over and then back again I don't ever
think I've been more worried about anything more than I was
about loosing the fish but I finally put a gaff up its gut and
dragged it in the boat I was proud as punch as I'm sure you can
imagine 10mins after that my other line went as well I thought
it couldn't be true another 1 but it a big bloody ray typical a
